After applying for way tooo many summer jobs and getting rejected one too many times, i responded to a company with the following email after following them up for months unsuccessfully....


Dear Mr. Richmand,

Thank you for your letter on Jun 26th. After careful consideration I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me employment with your company.

This year I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field of candidates it is impossible for me to accept all refusals.

Despite your companies outstanding qualifications and previous experience in rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection does not meet my needs at this time. Therefore I will initiate employment with your firm immediately following graduation. I look forward to seeing you then.

A Chinese soccer fan died at his home after going 11 nights without sleep as he watched every single Euro 2012 game from Poland and Ukraine.


Jiang Xiaoshan died from exhaustion June 19 after reportedly staying up every night to watch the Euros with his friends.

After watching Italy defeat the Republic of Ireland, the 26-year-old fan went back to his home in Changsha, took a shower and fell asleep. Xiaoshan never woke up.

Festival season is upon us so to kick it all off, i headed to Lovebox @ Victoria Park, London. Luckily the weather held up and there was great vibes all day. It was the most diverse crowd i have ever seen at a festival though, including 80 year old grandmas knitting on benches smoking joints, 4 year old babies running round the Hospitality arena in fluorescent glasses and new era flat caps, bang on it teenage ravers dressed as pirates and of course your usual festival hippies passed out under trees and having sex in the port-a-loos. All in all though,  it was a great weekend and I definitely recommend Lovebox to all!
